I have spent the majority of my life after university working on various non-profit projects. I spent over a year living and working in a tiny village in South Africa. It was an amazing experience that ended up changing my life. The stories we hear coming out of Africa are horrible....but there is another story that we aren't told. That is the story of hope, inspiration, and change. The people of Africa are beginning to fight for their rights, and they are doing it by getting themselves healthy, and through education. I will do all I can to help them in their goal. My organization, Song for Africa, believes in the power of music to promote positive behaviour change, peace, and development. We strive everyday to help the people of Africa find their voice, and hope that maybe....just maybe someone will listen to them.
